Greetings!
In recognition of the 78th anniversary of the Battle of Midway, I’m honored to invite you to a virtual Commemoration and Wreath Laying Ceremony recognizing our Nation’s greatest naval victory, the Battle of Midway. Those who fought for our freedom during this epic battle changed the course of World War II, and we will never let them be forgotten. Fifteen Navy and Marine Corps organizations, including SNA, have come together to honor this important day in naval history.
Please visit the Navy Memorial website on Thursday June 4th at 1pm to view the ceremony, which will feature remarks from United States Navy Memorial Chairman of the Board, Admiral John C. Harvey, Jr., USN (Ret.), remarks from the Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Michael Gilday, USN and a solemn wreath laying ceremony by Commandant Naval District Washington, Rear Admiral Carl A. Lahti, USN.
